Here at KA$HIT FITZ, <\/em>we take part in a season of replanting tree for the benefits of restoring our forests and CO2 count. Of 1 billion items of clothing made each year, almost 40% of all production is never utilized. Every second a dump of textiles reaches the landfill, think about that. Climate change is the result of this like this. CO2 pollution occurs nearly right after as a part of the process. When is that going to change??<\/p>

Our cycle in itself is renewable. Our products and packaging are made from natural materials, not plastic. Every product is designed to be sent back after it is worn out - to be made into new products from the materials recovered. Talk about effective & benefical reusability.<\/p>

How does the tree planting happen?<\/h3>

To make all tree planting effective and beneficial, we partnered up with tree planting organizations like Tree-Nation<\/u><\/a>. Most of the projects are international, THE biggest impact!<\/p>

So far projects like the Eden Projects, reforested large Madagascan areas. These would aid other projects maintain natural biodiversity and combat deforestation all at the same time. Your trees help keep the Madagascan costline balanced, preserving the environment for native spices and ecosystems. Along with that, these projects offer long- term employment for person planting. A cycle that cares, helps and continues to.<\/p>

Our collective donations support a lot more than sowing seeds. Nature Reserve nurses endangered species back to good health, protecting and poaching them. Planting forest gives them safer homes to return to, we strive to counter the effects of deforestation in any way we can. After trees are planted, guards towers and patrols watch for fires and keep the forests from getting cut down illegally or destroyed by natural disasters.<\/p>

So the trees are mostly Rhizophora mucronata and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza trees, planted as part of the Eden Project in Madagascar.<\/p>

<\/p>

We base your CO2 stats are captured on the Lifetime CO2 Offset -that Tree-Nation gives for these species. The average CO2 offset is calculated between these to be an estimated 38.6 kg of CO2 offset per tree. Our stats take into account the CO2 emitted in order to plant and grow the tree as well as the CO2 the tree captures during its lifetime (which the project ensures is long and healthy through regular patrols etc).<\/p>
