Synthetic fibers don't biodegrade (DO NOT break down healthy enough for the earth) and will be around for hundreds of years. By contrast, our products - your fitz and packaging are always made from plants, not plastic.

Washing clothes releases the equivalent of 50 billion plastic bottles of microplastics every year, each tiny fiber is small enough to be absorbed by plankton and go upwards into our food chains. So ultimately, it goes like this; production of plastic fibered garments, then washed by its owner, water is passed through many drains - yet still holds tiny plastic molecules, which is then drunk by us or absorbed through fish gills (which we eat, btw).

Polyester does not break down in the ocean so it can never be cleaned up by nature.
