The fashion industry is now approximately <\/em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/forestry\/press\/un-alliance-aims-put-fashion-path-sustainability\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em><u>worth over 2.5 trillion dollars &amp; employs over 75 million people around the world!!<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/p><p><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/odbvi3kanqrfufwiikpjggal4iuwlglm1mdpvo1kmzst4jmm.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"odbvi3kanqrfufwiikpjggal4iuwlglm1mdpvo1kmzst4jmm.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/>- Join<strong> #TreadNotDead<\/strong> to protect our land from textile waste &amp; various pollutions<\/p><p><\/p><p>Fast fashion pollutes our planet and exploits our people. That\u2019s why here, at KA$HIT FITZ we chose to be a part of the change and help humanity. 1 order at a time, t-shirt by t-shirt.<\/p><p><\/p><h3>Wasted Water:<\/h3><p><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/ovyr6lrjbcxb5pkjsv9rljig27qhl45bjabdisl34im5famg.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"ovyr6lrjbcxb5pkjsv9rljig27qhl45bjabdisl34im5famg.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/>- <em>Did you know this??<\/em><\/p><p><\/p><p>According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), this is enough for one person to drink at least eight cups per day for three-and-a-half years, WOW! Fear not Kfamily, your t-shirts are specially made because the fields that grow the organic cotton we use to produce clothing are located in the North of India. There, the monsoons fill reservoirs that supply almost all the water needed, limiting the amount of water being drawn - that water could be used for drinking.<\/p><p>Textile dyeing is the world\u2019s second-largest source of water pollution since waste from the dyeing process is often dumped into <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fashionrevolution.org\/the-true-cost-of-colour-the-impact-of-textile-dyes-on-water-systems\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>ditches, streams, or rivers<\/u><\/a>. On the organic side of fashion, it\u2019s ensured that where your fabrics are dyed, the water is recovered, cleaned &amp; recirculated. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/t2QPs6E8X3Q?si=rVKWPUWnM8F8O6u_\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>It\u2019s even clean enough to drink<\/u><\/a><\/p><p><\/p><h2>Carbon Emissions:<\/h2><p>10% of our global carbon emissions are the cause of today\u2019s choice of fashion supply.<\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/vvzbbd1vvv8mzcsc51wlbj4pojctvywup22nuyrzjzkfyo46.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"vvzbbd1vvv8mzcsc51wlbj4pojctvywup22nuyrzjzkfyo46.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/><\/p><p>The 10% <strong><u>IS NOT<\/u><\/strong> just air freight emissions from rushing stock into stores for the fast fashion seasons, no, it\u2019s the pesticides and fertilizers that go into conventional farming, or the oil that\u2019s extracted to make polyester and other plastic fibers. These emissions equal more than all international flights and maritime shipping (ocean transport) combined - believe it or not!! If business-as-usual continues, fashion\u2019s share of the carbon budget will jump to 26%  by 2050, according to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/emf.thirdlight.com\/link\/2axvc7eob8zx-za4ule\/@\/preview\/1?o\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>a 2017 report<\/u><\/a> from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. <strong>To counter this, our factories use renewable energy from the wind and sun &amp; help out tree-planting organizations by hosting \u2018Buy 1, Get 1 Tree\u2019 offers. This grants recovery for CO2 in our atmosphere. <\/strong>We are so lucky we chose a more efficient supply chain &amp; our products are made from natural materials.<\/p><p><\/p><h3>Farming <\/h3><p><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/qs4jxcjvvjzvhatvgcapnlmxufpz4jdnjpxlrebldyezojpy.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"qs4jxcjvvjzvhatvgcapnlmxufpz4jdnjpxlrebldyezojpy.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/><\/p><p>This is despite conventional cotton farming only using <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/forestry\/news\/fashion-environmental-and-social-emergency-can-also-drive-progress-towards\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3%<\/a> of the world's fertile land. <strong>Our products being certified organic means that no chemical nasties are used on the organic cotton crops and our fields help wildlife in the area thrive.<\/strong><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/aroshohgdlod5gm9vq71jtsvp6tnmn98ac5qxzwsvuxptzdg.png.jpg?w=680&amp;h=auto\" alt=\"\" title=\"82196660\" \/><br \/>This is an extra <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/globalfashionagenda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Pulse-of-the-Fashion-Industry_2017.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>115 million hectares<\/strong>,<\/a> and five times the size of the UK. That\u2019s land that will displace biodiversity in those regions. <strong>By making clothes that are designed to be remade, less land and fewer resources are needed to make new stuff again and again - this is the philosophy behind all of your products. <\/strong>Keeping our planet healthy &amp; ultimately us too. <strong>SAY NO TO CHEMICALS <\/strong>-  can\u2019t even eat an apple &amp; not think about the many chemicals it might have\u2026<\/p><p><\/p><p>There are so many more issues to address when it comes to the way our fashion industry operates - &amp; then blatantly ignores.
